A Girlfriend Getaway

Serendipity means, “the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for.”

Serendipity also means that when my hairstylist best friend asked the lady she was doing color on where she worked, it led to us discovering a place we’d never heard of before.  Before the appointment was over, we had reservations at Snug Hollow Farm Bed and Breakfast for lunch!

All this wonderful serendipity lead to a flavorful, home cooked vegetarian lunch on the screened porch…

…and relaxing walks around the grounds…

There were beautiful flowers all around…growing outside…and arranged in vases inside.  All in all it was a beautiful day that happened by chance.

It makes you wonder.  What is serendipity going to gift you with next?

What I’m wearing:  White top, retail on sale.  Pink shrug, Burlington Coat Factory.  Denim shorts, Walmart…I told you I was a “mart” girl!  Vintage pink flower pin.

Live your lemonade life!

Such a picturesque place and the fact that it just happened and came together so smoothly makes it even more fun. I love when that happens.
By the way, you look really great in pink!

Sound like you had a great day with your friends. My friend cut hair too. She the one who cuts my hair when I need it done.

That food all looks delicious – who knew vegetarian food could look so yummy? You and your friend are dressed perfectly, and beautifully, for the occasion 😉

Awwwh! Sweet! Pretty you, pretty friend and pretty lunch spot. Lunch doesn’t look bad either! Love your pin front and center on your blouse … the wrong pin could look too heavy, but that one looks perfect there! So glad to see you having fun. Lovely post, Debbie! (You should use one of these photos for Sacramento’s Share in Style on the 18th. The theme is Summer, and, well, there we are … right in your photos!)

It’s a beautiful, relaxing place for lunch. We’ve been there a couple of times now. We want to go back and take our moms.
