Favorite Looks

The combination of a broken ankle, an ugly but extremely useful boot, over an inch of roots and a lost remote for the camera has brought me to the conclusion that the best thing I can do right now is to post some of my past favorite looks.

I’ve been wishy washy with my blog as of late but I’ve finally made the decision to stick with a self-hosted WordPress blog at Bluehost.  I’ve also decided to start back from scratch.  No one loves a new beginning more than me!

So for the next few weeks…or at least until I can drive to the beauty shop…I’ll be posting some of my favorite outifts from the previous I Love My Lemonade Life Blog and from my first blog which was Thrifty Girl Vintage.

For this week…

This dress is a vintage cotton dress and the pink daisy pin, which I pinned at the waist, is also vintage.  It is finds like these that have me considering opening an online vintage shop.  I am constantly running across interesting items because I love to thrift and many of these one of a kind pieces are not in my size.

It sort of makes sense to open a shop.  Got a full closet?  Check.  Trying to simplify? Always.  But still unable to give up thrifting?  Absolutely.  Hmmm.  Sounds like a vintage store could be the answer.  For every problem, there’s a positive if you just look for it, right?

Have any of you had success with selling vintage online?

Live your lemonade life,

Debbie

I’m linking up this week with the lovely bloggers for Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet Style.  Come check it out, or better yet, join in the fun!

Well, you had me at vintage cotton! I love the colours and pattern here Debbie! I’ve never sold on-line…I read that one of the biggest challenges is accurately photographing the clothing.

A broken ankle? Ooh, not good…do take care and heal quickly!

Congrats on moving to a self hosted site. I’ve been contemplating doing the same for some time now. I hope the transition has been smooth for you!

Dear Debbie, thank you very much for commenting on my blog. It’s very nice to meet you! 🙂 I am glad that you came back to blogging – happy for you! I think you are a very brave woman because you are trying to create something new in your life. That is always brave and amazing! I am with you – I love new beginnings. Excitement is much bigger than fear for me too. 🙂

I love your outfit! What a pretty dress, and you paired it so beautifully with the cardigan and the cute pin, and the shoes. Colors are so vibrant and really suit you! I am very sorry to hear about your broken ankle. I wish you to recover soon! I took a misstep a couple of days ago myself, and my feet hurt a bit, but no broken ankle, fortunately. 🙂

So glad to see you! And this little outfit is well worth the review. Cheers me up just to think of it!
Poor ankle! Hope you heal in record time, Debbie! When you feel like it, bejewel you boot and come out to play. We’ll happily see your blasts from the past until you do!
