Vintage Dotted Dress

I found this vintage style dotted dress at my local Goodwill.  It has a “one-size-fits-all” fit, a square neckline and attached self-tie which you can tie in front or back.  This navy cotton dress is super comfortable and forgiving thanks to it’s roomy style. The only tag in the dress says “Made in India.”  I’ve worn this several times already and it seems like the sort of dress you could hang onto forever.  Did I mention it was only five dollars?!?  Ahhh…thrifting!

It’s always fun to find that one (or ten!) special items at your local thrift store!  And by local I mean scouring the thrift stores of whatever city you find yourself in.

Do you make thrifting a part of your trip when you visit new places?

I do love to visit thrift stores while travelling. That is if I can convince my travel partners to go.

What a score! It fits you perfectly. The neckline is gorgeous and I love how you’ve done the bright red shoes.

Oh, love it! Just brilliant dress … I’ve been looking for red ankle strap shoes but with a heel. Like you, to wear with blue and everything else. Perfect price, sly-boots! You look beautiful, and i can’t take my eyes off your hair! I think you look great! Do you like it? Very fresh!

I ALWAYS go thrifting when I visit Austin, TX. I’ve obtained many many treasures there!
My boyfriend is the ace thrifter in our household. Actually, he’s the ace SHOPPER! He wears me out sometimes.
Glad you found 52 Pick-me-up Style! I love new faces (even if it’s an old post — we all have hidden gems in our blog archives).
