Watercolor Art, Watercolor Dress

I got into watercolors completely by accident.  I thought I was picking up a pack of acrylic paints and when I got home I realized I had water colors instead.

Sometimes you just need to go with the flow.  I used them as a base for my collage.

Taste, See, Feel Hear, Believe, 18

Whether you think you are creative or not, anyone can rip images out of magazines and copy or create some inspiring words.  Creating is an activity that puts you in the flow, taking you out of yourself and into the moment.

I wore my watercolor dress for Easter Sunday.  I also wore these…

I am thankful for my Aircast, as well as my walker and my wheelchair.  They’ve helped me be mobile and independent as I heal from my broken ankle.

I’m still not driving, so no trip to the beauty shop just yet.  Instead of trying to hide my roots, I decided why not just flaunt them.

I hope you and yours have had a wonderful day.  I wish everyone a beautiful and blessed Easter!

Sorry to hear about your broken ankle! I always feel extra bad for you hardware amateurs. Getting around in a wheelchair or walker takes practice and can frustrate even us life-long users. I truly hope you mend very quickly and that dress is so beautiful it more than makes up for your aircast!

Your watercolor dress is very pretty. I love that you dare to “flaunt” your roots. haha Depending on who you ask…this look is in style anyway. Just pretend you’re so chic that you can’t be bothered. 🙂

Broken ankle is not a small thing, I hope you are healing well.. the dress is another story, its an artwork indeed! I can see it on a date night all the way to a cocktail party. Versatile pretty dress 🙂

The print on your watercolor dress is amazing…I totally love it! It looks so pretty with your skin tone, and is fresh and spring-y! Sorry about your ankle…I’ve been recovering form a bad sprain/broken bone in my foot for 8 weeks now, and it’s definitely a challenge! But it’s also down time to get into that flow!

Debbie! I love your dress, your hair, your painting and your attitude! My poor baby… hope you foot heals soon and is not too painful. I love you for acting out in the ways that you can! That’s creativity. I know I said I loved the hair, but it bears saying twice … brilliant look. Very, very cool. Even your boot has a “storm-trooper” quality. I say rock on while you hobble about!
